He noticed he didn't have gloves on so he asked another employee to toss the gloves to him. On 3/08/2018, at approximately 12:45, two employees were transferring material from one roll to another. Employee 2 pressed the jog button to advance the rolls while employee 1's hand was sitting on the fabric. Employee 1's left ring finger was then caught between the fabric and the roll or the rubber, suffering a laceration that required surgical amputation of the fingertip.
